Fellows work on-site, full-time with a youth-focused partner organization and remotely with FLIA for twelve to thirteen weeks.

Work with Fiver Children's Foundation
The Fiver Children’s Foundation is a comprehensive youth development organization that makes a 10-year commitment to children from underserved communities throughout New York City and central New York.
The fellow will help Fiver staff develop creative, experiential curriculum focusing on Fiver's three core pathways: Education and Career Success, Healthy Life Choices and Leadership and Service.
Work with Financial Beginnings Oregon
Financial Beginnings Oregon's mission is to empower youth and adults to take control of their financial futures. They do this by strengthening communities through inclusive financial education.
The fellow will assist staff in creating systems of program evaluation and in implementing student focus groups to improve the cultural responsiveness of programs.
Work with YSS
YSS provides prevention, treatment, and transition programming and services to children, youth and families in Iowa.
YSS Residential Addiction Treatment provides a successful, individualized and evidence-based recovery program for youth (ages 12-18) in a safe, homelike atmosphere. YSS’s comprehensive approach incorporates support for the youth’s family and others in their support network.
The fellow will work closely with YSS Residential Addiction Treatment staff to create an alumni program that supports clients as they transition out of the facility and beyond.
