Lauren Sulaiman (she/her) with The Flossy Organization

Lauren is proudly rooted in Brooklyn, New York. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Gender Studies and graduated summa cum laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She hopes to attend graduate school to strengthen her expertise in education and policy, and to become an educator who continues to uplift the voices of underserved communities. She finds joy in reading, cooking new foods, volunteering, and building community, an approach she takes to stay connected and engaged with the world around her. This summer, Lauren is thrilled to be working with The Flossy Organization and gain hands-on experience in transformative youth engagement, civic awareness, and community-centered work.
