Fellow Bio Summer 2026

Taylor Frazier (she/her) with Fiver Children’s Foundation

Taylor is from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Roanoke, Virginia. She recently graduated with general and departmental honors from Vassar College with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a Correlate in History. While at Vassar, she was a coxswain and captain of the rowing team. When she wasn’t on the water or in class, she worked as a mentor to high school students by providing social-emotional, academic, and college-preparation support. For her senior thesis, titled “Growing and Graduating Together," which won a departmental award, she utilized qualitative data methods to analyze how staff and high school students perceived and experienced an afterschool program. This research solidified Taylor’s belief in the importance of positive relationships and student voice in youth programming. Now, she hopes to continue working in youth programming before possibly pursuing a graduate degree in education policy. No matter where life takes her, she is committed to building positive, reciprocal relationships with young people in her career. She is ecstatic about the opportunity to continue this work by supporting Fiver Children’s Foundation’s Summer Job Training Program.
