Describe your career path. How did your fellowship with FLIA prepare you for this role?
"After my fellowship with FLIA, I spent two years as an English teacher in Spain before returning to Des Moines and starting my current position at Eat Greater Des Moines. My time with FLIA helped lay the groundwork for my career in non-profits. My fellowship allowed me to develop and implement a project from start to finish and learn how to be flexible in the face of challenges. FLIA was there to support me through my fellowship and helped me to cultivate my leadership skills. "
